In these uncertain times, life can be really stressful. You might be worried about your visa or how you’re going to continue your studies. Maybe you’re trying to figure out how you’ll return home.

Do you feel alone? When you’re far away from your family or isolated from your friends, loneliness can creep in. Perhaps you feel like no one can truly understand the struggles you’re dealing with right now.

But the truth is this: there is someone who knows exactly what you’re going through during this difficult season. He loves you and wants to have a relationship with you.

We can all agree that we’ve messed up at some point in our lives - we’ve all said, done, or thought something wrong. This is called sin. Our sins have separated us from God, which can make us feel even more alone than we already do.

The Bible says "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God. The Bible says "The wages of sin is death."

But God loves you enough that He sent Jesus, His only Son, to live a sinless life and die on a cross for the penalty of your sins and give you the opportunity to have a relationship with Him. That’s how much He wants you to know Him!

Jesus rose from the dead and now lives in heaven with God His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. And with that promise, we know we will never be alone. He promises, “I will never leave you or forsake you,” (Hebrews 13:5) and, “I am with you always.” (Matthew 28:20)
